The New Mexico Food Pathways Program is seeking Letters of Interest from eligible organizations and food retail enterprises interested in pursuing reimbursement-based funding for projects that improve food access in underserved communities.
Project Focus Areas Include:
- Expanded access to healthy, affordable staple foods
- Improved economic viability of rural and community-based food retailers
- Increased SNAP-authorized retail capacity
- Enhanced cold chain, storage, and food safety infrastructure
Important Information:
- Submission of an LOI does not guarantee funding or an invitation to submit a full application.
- Selected organizations will be invited to participate in the full application phase.
- Funding awards will be made through a competitive review process.
- The LOI serves as the initial screening phase for prospective applicants.
